Maddy is eagerly awaiting the arrival of her first springtime. She is ready for grass-stains to go with her sweet potato and green bean stains. She wants to expand her "off-limits" vocabulary and find rocks and pieces of mulch to chew on (with her one barely-peeking-through tooth) instead of remote controls, cat toys and mommy's cell phone.
Maddy has learned to do so much in the last couple of months! She's been sitting on her own for quite a while. She can sit in a high chair at restaurants and is almost crawling and can scoot and roll her way to just about anywhere she wants to go (like to this laptop to help me type, for example). She can stand on her own, but you have to support her in case of toppling or out-of-control hula dancing. She eats baby food, teething biscuits and puffs. She can "pet" the kitty; she can (and often does) make a huge mess while splashing during bath time. She's also learning about water in our mommy-and-me swimming class.
Here are some photos from the last couple of months. Enjoy!
