Maddy Hearts Daddy

Happy Thanksgiving this week!  I don't think it's hard to guess what I'm thankful for this year :)

Maddy has been getting so much stronger in the last few weeks!   She flips from her back to her tummy on a regular basis (and sometimes will keep doing it as many times as you roll her back onto her back); she also did a full roll-over (360 degrees).

While she still doesn't love tummy time, she's starting to tolerate it longer and longer.  It still generally results in tears, though.

She can hold her head up much better and can quasi-stand if you hold her up.  It's amazing how quickly she's grown from a little glowworm, always wrapped in a blanket, to a free, wiggling starfish with arms and legs always moving, kicking and grasping.
She had a lot of fun when her Grandma Gerner came to visit for a few days.  She got a lot of snuggling and story time.

She "found her voice" a few weeks ago and has become much more vocal.  Maddy has also been doing great at day care; they say she's a very smiley, happy baby.  She has really wonderful teachers who give her lots of love and attention.  She even gets to take buggy rides down the halls (and looks like she's proud of herself for sitting up in the front, like a big girl!).
Maddy also loves spending time with her daddy.
